Private Registered Nursing Services
Group Classes, Workshops and Seminars
This section has all of our classes, workshops and seminars that we offer. For all services we can offer group or private. All classes come with written ebooks. Some classes include 1:1 short private assessments. Some classes come with support packages. If you have any questions, just email carolyn@themamacoach.ca
Sleep Consultant
We offer qualified support based on your specific parenting goals, and we bring empathy and understanding to make meeting those goals easier. We look extensively at feeding, development, weight gain, and your child’s circadian rhythm to determine the best way to find sleep.
Lactation and Feeding
Breastfeeding. Bottle feeding. Formula. Combination of both. It is a personal choice.
As Registered Nurses, we believe in supporting you on your journey. We will provide real solutions and a ton of support without any judgement. If you are struggling with breastfeeding, whether your baby is 2 days old or two years, we are committed to helping you.
If you are pumping, or formula feeding and have questions, we are here for you. How you feed your baby does not determine how good of a mother you are. We believe that a healthy mama is imperative for a healthy family.
Prenatal Education
You are pregnant...how exciting!
We are thrilled for you, and as Registered Nurses, we want to teach you about YOUR pregnancy. Our classes are tailored to your pregnancy and birth wishes. We talk about it all. Our job is to make sure you feel good about birth and bringing your baby home.
Postpartum and/or Newborn Support
Providing Mamas with consistent, quality postpartum support as we address things like sleep, feeding, postpartum healing, newborn growth & development and more.
CPR/AED and Choking Education
Introducing The Mama Coach CPR services. We are Registered Nurses and certified by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada to provide the most up to date and evidence-based information for how to perform CPR and what to do if your child is choking. We are also available to deliver full CPR certification if required.
Toilet Learning
Toilet learning (often referred to as Potty training) is a big deal for the entire family.
There are a million ideas and opinions on how it can be done.
There is no “ideal window” or magic age that you should start the process.
As Registered Nurses, we have done extensive research to understand the key signs of readiness, and developed programming to support that.
Our program is for you if:
You think your child is ready, but are unsure of where to start.
You want to make the process as seamless as possible.
You have been potty training for a while, but are having issues.
